HotTt!

Anjali's favorite concept lately has been the idea of temperature. She is excited to notice that a bowl of soup is hot, and says, "Hottt!" (with great emphasis on the "t"). When a cup of tea has steam rising, she points to it and says, "Hottt!" When the sun shines in and warms the floor, it is "Hottt!" But we have figured out that "hottt!" means noticeable temperature changes in general, and not just the warm kind. For instance, the other morning was extra cold (for Berkeley). As we started out the day, Papi carried Anjali to the toilet to peepee first thing. When he helped her off the toilet, her feet touched the cold tile floor, and she said, "Hottt!!" : )
