If she wants something and doesn't know a sign for it, she waves her hands and kind of mixes a few signs together then looks at me with an expression of hope and expectation.

Animal Noises ~
Favorite animal expression - gorilla, saying " oo oo oo!" and tapping her fists on her chest ( more like near her armpits).
Well, with the exception of "meow!", but that has bordered on obsession..
Butterfly sound " fuh fuh fuh fuh!" and flutter of hand..
Bird - deh-deet!
Latest favorite noise ~ bleegka bleegka bleegka!, which is often accompanied by sprinkling her fingers up near her face as if she is signing something and much enthusiasm and lip-pursing
She loves imitating a facial expression of eyes-wide and mouth-open surprise that she sees in a favorite book, Good Night, Gorilla! This crosses over into a face she imitates Papi with, in which she makes her mouth into a "o" low on her face (hard to describe). This often accompanies her plopping onto a pile of pillows or the bed - like Papi does for fun.
Here's a little clip of Anjali showing her sign for "orange" (a few weeks ago). The ambient noise is really loud; you might want to turn down the sound on your computer.
