Anjali Sage ~ the blog ~ is born

This blog was created for you, Anjali, by me, your mama. It is my intention to update it regularly so that you and those who love you can read the beautifully unfolding story of You.
Today, you are around ten weeks old. This past week has been exciting for you, as you have started reaching for, and grabbing some things, such as Mommy's necklace, Papi's hair, yarn, and sometimes getting them to your mouth. On one attempt to grab for something ~ a colorful Chinese take-out box, you began your efforts to roll over. And the next day, you made it ~ from your back to your tummy ~ twice. This took quite a bit of grumping and muttering on your part; it seems you had to muster a lot of nerve and energy.
It's so much fun to hear your opinions and the stories you tell so enthusiastically and confidently. And lately you'd rather tell us your complaints with your words than cry about something (although you can still cry like a three-week-old when the need arises). You enjoy eating. You also seem not to mind sleeping. Cuddling up next to you at bedtime is my favorite!

I hope you have fun reading this blog someday, and that your loved ones will have fun reading it in the meantime.
Love, Your Mommy

The technique.

Snuggled up in Papi's jacket and ready to go!

Bundled up for a chilly outing.
