Here's a catalog of recent sounds that Anjali has been making.
~~"Vvvvv", "Fffff", and "Vvvv" that mixes with "Bbbb", kind of like en Espanol.
~~A rolling of the tongue that sometimes sounds like "hello," that seems to convey either, "What are you doing?" or, "What is that?" And sometimes is a nonchalant, matter-of-fact statement of some sort.
~~For a while, Anjali made a coughing sound as a way to get my attention. This has evolved into a shorter throat-clearing noise. This one is often used to let me know she is pee-peeing, or has just pee-peed.
~~A throaty, "Mmmm!" that is a demand ~ usually for food.
~~Clicking her tongue on the roof of her mouth is fun for her, and she smiles happily and looks at me to share.
~~Quietly, she makes a popping noise with her lips, bringing her bottom lip out and in with a "p" noise for each movement.
~~I swear she has made a "Kitty" kind of sound several times when crawling full speed toward Kitty (who usually runs away).
~~"Mummummummumm" continues to convey that she is dissatisfied in some way ~ either sleepy, hungry, or uncomfortable maybe from teething. And "Mammamma" is directly asking for me ~ usually to be picked up and/or have booby.
