For a while there, Anjali would count, saying, "2 - 1 - 2 - 1 - 2 - 1!"
Lately I've heard her counting all the way up to six several times ~ reciting from the book, How Many Bugs in a Box?, and even up to nine once!
Mostly, this is the way she expresses the idea of "many" right now: "2 - "fee" (3) - 4 - 9!"
For instance, she looked on the bag of cat food today and saw that there were several cats, so she said "tee-tat (kitty cat)! 2 - 3 - 4 - 9!" She points to what she's counting, and her excitement builds as the numbers build.
The other day as we went for a walk with her on my back, she commented on the cars and trucks going by. She seemed to be grasping the concept of "Lots of" something, and said it over and over, "Lots. Lots of. Cors (cars). Lots... Lots of. Tucks (trucks)."
