Moving to Mexico, Part III

We made it all the way to San Diego in one day, driving into the night. Reuniting with Auntie Woo and Uncle Miles. Then the repacking commenced, to prepare all our stuff for the long, bumpy road down the Baja Peninsula. Papi headed out with truck and trailer with Felipe as his Mexican spokesperson at customs, and Uncle Miles drove the Subaru (for which we traded the silver Jetta with Aunt Tiff) with the small trailer. Once they got through customs, Felipe's friend joined him in the truck for the drive, and Papi rode with Uncle Miles in the Subaru. They arrived on January 11. Anjali and I stayed with Auntie Woo in San Diego until the 12th. While there we ate lots of yummy food, took relaxing strolls, had daily sessions at the playground, and of course enjoyed spending time with Auntie Woo, Uncle Miles, and furry family.
